Elizabeth Clore (should it be Close) Withey, aged 84, widow of Lewis H. Withey II, formerlyof Maryland Ave. N.E. died Monday evening in Sherbrook Nursing Home. Surviving are two sons, Charles S. Withey II of the West Indies, Lewis H. Withey III of Grand Rapids, a daughter, Ann C.W. Black of Grand Rapids; 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 1 pm in the funeral home. Rev. Joe Reynolds of Grace Episcopal Church officiating. Entombment the Withey Mausoleum at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday 2 t0 4 and 7 to 9 at Metcalf & Jonkhoff, Cascade Rd. east of I-96.
