Edward Lyon Withey aged 62 of 611 Fountain St. N.E. passed away Thursday at his winter home in Lakewood, Fla. Surviving are his widow, Helen Bostock Withey, one son, Edward L. Jr. of Grand Rapids; three daughters Mrs. Robert C. Howlett of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Malvin E. LaBarr of Hamburg N.J., Mrs. Bert F. Albers of Lakewood, Ohio and seven grandchildren. Mr. Withey will be brought to the Metcalf Mortuary Saturday noon. Services will be held in the Metcalf Chapel at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon, the Very Rev. William T. Reeves, dean of St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral officiating. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends are asked to please omit flowers.
