Wilton - Ill, many months, Fred Withee died Sunday at the home of a daughter, Ella Withee.

He was born in Cherryfield, May 11, 1859, and came to this town from Madison six years ago.

In addition to Miss Withee he leaves three other daughters, Mrs. Emma W. Millett, Mrs. Ida Burbank and Mrs. Irene Brooks, all of this town; three sons, Harold Withee of Madison; William Withee and Fred Withee Jr., both of Anson.

Funeral services for Fred Withee, who died recently in Wilton, will be held today at 1 p.m. at the Baptist church with the pastor, Rev. H. Clay Mitchell, officiating. Mr. Withee was a former resident of Anson where he lived for several years before moving to Wilton. Among the survivors are three sons, Harold, Fred, Jr., and William Withee, and three daughters, Ella Withee, Emma Withee and Irene Brooks.
