MADISON — Ella Withee, 93, of Madison, died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2000, at Redington-Fairview General Hospital in Skowhegan.

She was born Oct. 10, 1906, in Anson, daughter of Fred and Addie (Milton) Withee, and graduated from Madison Memorial High School, class of 1925. She had been employed for 39 years at the Wilton Woolen Co. and at the Wyandotte Worsted Co. mill in Waterville, retiring in 1972.

She loved her family and especially the family outings; she enjoyed traveling and going to Florida.

Survivors include many nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, brothers and sisters.

There will be no calling hours; a spring graveside service will be held. Arrangements are by Smart Edwards Funeral Home of Skowhegan. Donations may be made in her memory to the Madison Congregational Church, PO Box 86, Madison ME 04950.
