Veazie - Barbara Evelyn Withee, 74, beloved wife of Harold G. Withee, died Jan. 1, 1985, at a Bangor health care center. She was born in East Corinth, Sept. 20, 1910, the daughter of William E. and Evelyn (Farrar) Ellis. She was a former member of Grace United Methodist Church and of the grange. She is survived by her husband of Veazie; a daughter, Adrianna Roberson of Veazie; two sons, Harold A. Withee of Winslow and Richard F. Withee of Brewer; three sisters, Rachel Ellis of Bangor, Elinor Robinson of Dover-Foxcroft and Mary Ellen Nauglar of Bangor; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the Clark Mitchell and Foley Funeral Home, 299 Union St., Bangor, with the Rev. Maurice S. Amnott officiating. Interment will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.
