Pennsy Conductor Dies

Harry G. Quivey Succumbs After Year’s Illness

Harry G. Quivey, aged 49, a passenger conductor on the Pennsylvania railroad for many years and an employee of the company for 223 years, died at 11:26 o’clock Thursday night of a complication of disease at his home, 1422 South Calhoun street. He had been sailing for one year and was seriously sick for the last 10 days.

Mr. Quivey was born in Plymouth and had lived here since childhood. He was a member of the First Baptist church, the O.R. C., and of the Elks’ lodge.

Surviving are the widow, Edith M., one daughter, Mrs. Carl Ehrman of Detroit; one son, Solon E. Quivey, of this city; one grandchild; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Weaver of this city, and one sister, Mrs. Warren Smitley.
