The deceased was born in Marshall county near Argos, and resided in the county almost all his life. He married Miss Melissa Lenfesty, daughter of H. Lenfesty, of this city, Dec. 20, 1872. He removed to Ft. Wayne four years ago, and has since been in the employ of the P., Ft. W & C. R’y Co. George Quivey was kind and generous, always quiet and peaceable, temperate in all things, and respected by all. He leaves a wife and too* small children, who have the sympathy of all in their sad bereavement. His brothers, sisters, relatives and numerous friends sorrow because of the death of one who was always manly and true.
