Don McWethy, aka Don Alan, 73, died Thursday in San Diego.

He was born Feb. 22, 1926, in Norwood, Ohio. A magician and television magic show host, he was a five-year former resident of Las Vegas.

He is survived by his sons, Kevin of San Diego, Mark of Elburn, Ill., and Scott of Oswego, Ill.; and three grandchildren.

Telophese Cremation Society of San Diego handled the arrangements.
