Chris McWethy, 75, died at 11:30 p.m., Sunday at a local hospital. His home was at 808 West Park street, Urbana. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Renner funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery. The deceased had spent his life in Champaign county. He was born in St. Joseph 75 years ago and had resided in Urbana for the past 35 years where he followed the trade of a carpenter. He was preceded in death by two children, John E. McWethy and Mrs. Sarah Honelton. Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
