Born February 14, 1887, in St. Paul, Minnesota, a son of Francis Marion and Lora Coons McQuivey. Married Clara Soren in Provo, March 19, 1907; she died October 14, 1931. Married Annie Evans on August 15, 1942, in Evanston, Wyoming. Worked as a miner in Park City and Eureka, Utah. Worked for Utah Power and Light Company 15 years at Olmstead, Utah. Also worked construction.

Survivors: 4 sons; 1 daughter; Marion, Provo; Ross; Mrs. E.M. (Nadine) Porter, both Magna; Roland (Bob), American Fork; Gordon, Linden, Utah; stepchildren; Walter Warenski, San Raphael, California; Max Warenski, Santa Quinn, Utah; Mrs. J.L. (Ruth) Barnum, Orem; Dale Evans; Lynn Evans, all of Orem; Mrs. R.K. (Mary Ellen) Powlowski, all Orem; Mrs. Alfred C. (Fern) Luckart, Salt Lake City.

Funeral services Thursday 11 a.m. in the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, where friends may call prior to the services. Interment in the Salem City Cemetery.
