In failing health for several years, Mrs. Edna Mildred Bowdler, 58 of rt. 3, died last night at St. Joseph's hospital where she had been a patient for the past four days.
She was a native of Sheridan, Ore., and came to Clark county in 1904 from Idaho where she had lived for five years. She married Benjamin A. Bowdler in 1899 in Idaho City. She was a member of thte Salmon Creek grange and the Episcopal church.
Her husband survives her and three sons, Donald Bowdler, Knappa, Ore., Boyd Bowdler, Vancouver, and Phillip Bowdler, New York City; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Smith, Vancouver; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Knapp's Funeral chapel with the Rev. C.S. Mook officiating. Interment will be in Park Hill cemetery.
