A retired farmer, he was a Clark County resident 80 years. Widow, Agnes J. Bowdler. Sons, Donald Bowdler of Seaside, Ore., Boyd A. Bowdler of Vancouver, Wash., and Phillip Bowdler of New York. Step-son Alfred C. Emrich of Vancouver, Wash. Daughter, Mrs. Charles (Dorothy) Smith of Vancouver, Wash. Step-daughter, Mrs. Philip (Evelyn) Hill, Oswego, Ore. There are several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Was a 50 year member of Salmon Creek Grange and member of Pomona State and National Granges and Teamsters Union Local 501. Funeral services at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, at Vancouver Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Charles Dockstader will officiate. Interment in Park Hill Cemetery. Vancouver Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
