Dora McWethy Borders , 86, of Kettering, Ohio, formerly of Florence, died at 7:45 a.m. Saturday at Walnut Creek Nursing Home, Kettering. She was a retired bookkeeper with McAlpin's department stores and a member of Petersburg Baptist Church. Her first husband, Kirtley McWethy, died in 1957. Her second husband, August Borders, died in 1983.

Survivors include daughters, Hazel Becknel of Union and Alice Bashore of Denver, Pa.; sons, Joseph McWethy of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Charles McWethy of Centerville, Ohio; sisters, Freda Pitts of Florence and Norma Humphries of Lexington; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Erlanger. Visitation will begin there at noon. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
