Thirty-one year old Lawrence John Black leaped to his death from the top of the Perrine Memorial Bridge Monday morning...

The Coroner, Mr. Edwards, said the reason for Monday’s death is unknown.

He was a student at Idaho State University and had just let his wife off at the doctor’s office...

Mr. Black was born Oct. 4, 1938 at Twin Falls. He married Jon T. Thompson March 5, 1966 and from 1961 to 1964 he served in the Army.

Survivors in addition to his widow are his parents, Mr. And Mrs. Lelan Black of Pocatello and formerly of Twin Falls; his grandmother, Mrs. Ruby Black, Twin Falls; a brother, Paul Black, LaMesa, Calif., and his twin sister, Mrs. Lee (Lorita) Whitehead, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the White Mortuary Chapel with Bishop Roy Babbell and Father John Riley officiating. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park.
