Produce Company Owner, 55, Passes

Daniel L. Black, 55, owner of the Black Produce company, Twin Falls, died of a heart attack at 6 p.m. Friday at his home, 415 Second avenue north.

Born Aug. 27, 1888, in Deseret, Utah, he had been a resident of Idaho for the past 31 years and had made his home in Twin Falls since 1936.

Besides his wife, Mrs. Ruby W. Black, he is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel J. Black, Deseret; one son, Leland L. Black, Twin Falls; three grandchildren; three brothers, A.M. Black, Eden; C.L. Black, Salt Lake City, and Calvin Black, Deseret, and three sisters, Mrs. M.A. Williams, Gooding; Mrs. Frank E. Britchett, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. M.L. Western, Pocatello.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 2, at the White mortuary chapel. Bishop J. C. Frederickson of the L.D.S. church will officiate.

Interment will be in Sunset memorial park under direction of the mortuary.
